Flat Ground Soft Bread

Produced in Sardinia;This bread is obtained by pouring a drop of extra-virgin olive oil onto cooked, traditional pane Carasatu  flavoured with a pinch of salt, and toasting in an oven for a few minutes. Excellent with cured meats, cheeses, fish hors d’oeuvres.

Ingredients: Flour and natural durum wheat bran, water, leaven, and salt.

Produced in Sardinia; This particular bread is called “Spianata”. It is round and it’s made with flour, durum wheat bran, water, leaven, salt and butter. It’s like traditional Carasatu bread but it’s definitely softer. Can be used like fresh bread, with cheese and ham.
